Hope you're all well. Here are the details for our next concert.

Please note really short rehearsal schedule!!!

Friday 27th April: 7.30 -10pm tutti - The Cloisters Hall, The Cloisters

Tuesday 1st May: 7.30 - 10 pm - Sectionals Strings in St. Mary's Church Wind
& brass - venue tbc.

Friday 4th May: 7.30 -10 pm tutti - The Cloisters Hall, The Cloisters

Saturday 5th May: 10.30am - 2.00pm St. Mary's Church Hall, Church Street,
(there's a wedding on in the church 2.30 -3.45pm so we can't do our usual
times)

Concert starts at 5pm

A Family Concert: 'Around the World' Programme includes some if not all of
the following:
Mozart: Overture Abduction from the Seraglio
Rossini: Overture Italian Girl in Algiers
Mussorgsky: Night on a Bare Mountain or The Great Gate of Kiev -tbc
Sousa: The Stars and Stripes Forever
Offenbach: Suite Orpheus in the Underworld
Sullivan: Overture, Mikado
J. Strauss II: Waltz, The Beautiful Blue Danube
Sibelius: Finlandia
Smetana: Vltava
Bartok: Roumanian Dances

Usual stuff still applies:

Please bring a stand,

Concert dress: coloured shirts and black trousers for gentlemen, same for
ladies or long black with a flash of colour.

Subs for concerts: £15 per concert,

Ticket prices:£10 on the door, £8 (advance), £6 (concs), £1 children under
16's available from me or Andrew Ross.
